At last, a properly funded team will be running R1's for 2009. About time the Yamaha's did something in BSB, as not really done much in last 10 years. With the new big bang engine, this could turn out to be a good move.
Rob Mac, just didn't have enough backing to get a high enough spec for the R1's.
So GSE to Yamaha, who will run the Dukestatties next year. John Hacketts NW200 team maybe?

Feel a bit sorry for Rob Mac. After all his hard work. Maybe take over the Ducati's. Bit unfortunate that since they've had the weight added. they have'nt one a race

ive heard Rob Mac will still be running Yamaha R1s next year with Guy Martin an Karl Harris
if he is supplyin Guy Martin a bike for the TT i just hope he can build him somethin capable of winning
