I had a 7R for 6 years, great bike ,nightmare this time of year, continual carb icing.Make sure the small filter running to the carb heaters is not clogged,it comes apart and you can flush it out, that may be enough.Dont think there are any other soloutions apart from additives, never used them myself, maybe should have, tried various other things without success, know how annoying it is.Funny thing is it's not the really cold mornings that are the worst its those that are cold and damp.hope you get it sorted, and roll on the fine weather.
