Re: Chain & Sprockets kit recomendations
Bought Caz a new chain and sprocket set from these guys. Cant remember how much it was, but they are great to deal with. I have also bought brake pads and discs from them too, one of the pads were cracked and they sent me another set straight away, without seeing the damaged ones.
Would defo use them again.

Re: Chain & Sprockets kit recomendations
i prefer to buy a genuine Yamaha chain & sprocket kit for my bike rather than opting for the cheap sets , yes they are alot more expensive but i feel they last longer and are much better quality

You'll probably find that Yamaha don't actually make chains and sprockets.JT52 wrote:i prefer to buy a genuine Yamaha chain & sprocket kit for my bike rather than opting for the cheap sets , yes they are alot more expensive but i feel they last longer and are much better quality

... but if they did then they'd probably be the best chains and sprockets in the world!Grant wrote:You'll probably find that Yamaha don't actually make chains and sprockets.JT52 wrote:i prefer to buy a genuine Yamaha chain & sprocket kit for my bike rather than opting for the cheap sets , yes they are alot more expensive but i feel they last longer and are much better quality

well when i went into Ecosse Yamaha at the start of May an asked for a chain an sprocket kit for my bike it all came in a box with "genuine Yamaha parts" printed on it , the chain is made by D.I.D (i think) an the sprockets look exactly the same as the original ones the bike came with so thats enough for me

Re: Chain & Sprockets kit recomendations
whatever you do do not buy a triple S chain and sprocket kit, mine lasted less then 3k before snapping and just missing my leg as it spat up the back of the bike at XXmph

Re: Chain & Sprockets kit recomendations
Cant really go wrong with any of the main makes i.e. DID, Tsubaki etc. If going for Renthal sprockets always get the hard anodised ones as the regular silver ones are a tad soft.
