Defo going to the egg run. Few more things to do, paint protection film to get fitted, thinking about buying some carbon fibre vinyl for the swinging arm? Damper kit should be here tomorrow so I will get that fitted and the clear tank protection pad.Flamedamper wrote:Looking really good Barry, Like I said before the red was the right choice,Yamahahaha wrote:Pics of the bike finished.

Cheers guys, just glad it back before the egg run. I now need to pop down passed Gibbs Tools as I need a 36mm socket so I can fit the damper. Just waiting for the paint protection guy to pop round for a look.

Re: My bike
Got one from Gibbs Tools, but the clown that had the bike before me changed the yoke nut to a 32mm nut??, so I had to buy a 36mm & 32mm socket. Damper & Tank Pad now fitted.JTC wrote:i might have one you can borrow, i'll rake about in the garage tonight if you wantYamahahaha wrote:Cheers guys, just glad it back before the egg run. Re: My bike
When I get going nothing stops me. Swinging arm & fork lowers are letting the bike down, so I will pop over to Breaking Point tomorrow and get a price. If the price is right I will get them over for powdercoating and hopefully have them all fitted before the egg run. Also should add I bought carbon fibre engine covers & chainguard tonight, so they will be getting fitted also. So only thing left is new rearsets and then I will be happy.JT52 wrote:uve made a good job of your bike dude an im impressed at how quickly you got all the work done![]()

Re: My bike
The carbon fibre engine covers don't have any glue/adhesive. Does anyone know the best stuff to use??
