Re: Qatar Test results
I take it the Superpole he got in 2009 WSB round, along with winning both races means he wasn't there?Gazza wrote:Ben Spies continues to impress. Once again at a circuit he's never ridden before.

Stoner will win the race, again. Good to see Hayden has got to grips with the glorified Fiat (in practice at least).

I think Coddy's right. Stoner will be back with a vengeance this year and he really likes Qatar.steve wrote:Coddy wrote:Stoner will win the race

Re: Qatar Test results
stoner was gunning it for sure, until he washed out with no vid coverage, honda have some grunt this year with their bikes out running Yamaha and Ducati on te straights, rossi was lucky to be honest to take 1st lorenzo had a cracking run and ben spies done well on his 1st out, i think stoner will take the title this year albeit maybe a slim margin but he'll do it.
was a great dog fight between dovi and lorenzo, hope the season is a close race

Re: Qatar Test results
Stoner shat a brick the first time he went past the pits and his pit board said ...'Rossi 2nd'
He gunned it and crashed 4 corners later. Still unable to take the pressure it seems. Had he continued doing what he was already doing I think he'd have probably won.
Vale is the master of getting into the other riders heads.

Brilliant race and start to the season. Let's hope all the others are as exciting as this one was. What a finish eh?

Re: Qatar Test results

Thanks to Gazza and some internet software purchases and the good old Beeb, I finally managed to see the race.
It downloaded at 1.7kbs

I have tried to tag the file to this post but it is probably too big. Edit. Yep too big
