Duke Nukem

Well it will if they don't even bother to turn up.
Personally I'd fine em 50 points each for acting in such a manner.
After reading that I really hope neither of em wins the champoinship this year, not by a massive amount, just enough to make em cringe.

The thing that saddens me the most is the total lack of education displayed.
I always thought these guys were resonably intelligent people, but perhaps not.

Re: Duke Nukem
Disgraceful.. Bloody prima donnas should remember who pays their wages.
I remember the English soccer team refusing interviews a few years back because the press slagged off the goalkeeper (James I think). The Sky viewers (who effectively paid their salary) were denied part of the show because these stuck up cnuts (who get paid ca £100K per game) couldn't handle being told they were playing like useless tw@ts. Pay me that amount for 90 minutes work and I'll happily let you slag me off for eternity... and give you an interview.
Ths action by Stoner and Lorenzo is worse due to the fact that the Japs will actually benefit with the MotoGP going there. I do hope one of them loses the world championship due to it. Even better to see one or the other of them renege on their decision after realising they could lose the championship and then being told sorry you're too late.
Fingers crossed.

Re: Duke Nukem
Couple of twats. Their exposure will be limited by the distance from the source and the relativly short time they are there.
As you say, they are paid by Japanese companies. What about all the Japanese workers who live and work in Japan supporting their racing career. I would take it as an insult if it was me and demand that they be removed from representing the company that I worked for.
There are millions of Japanese still homeless and trying to get their lives back together who have no choice but to be there (not that you would still know it due to the media being more obsessed with phone hacking etc. and not reporting on the situation in Japan for months!).
Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian).

Re: Duke Nukem
What a sad reflection on them and the "sport". Makes a mockery of "ONE HEART" solidarity with our friends in Japan. If I were in charge of the team, I would sack those who refused to go.
It seems Rossi is sitting on the fence http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/sport ... icipation/
Where would MotoGP be without the Japanese? Which Ducati would win, maybe against MV Agusta and a Manx Norton?

Re: Duke Nukem
Perhaps a subtle approach will be implemented. First the machinery for the affected rider is slightly detuned.
Then his team mate consistently out performes the 'star' rider.
Team state they still have confidence in rider....even after a year or so of 'bad' results. Journos question if the rider has lost the edge.
Eventually they part company and former star is relegated to a second string team (supported by factory) where still fails to perform. Eventually fails to get a ride and is reduced to a national championship ride wondering what happened.

Maybe it's a tactical ploy by Lorenzo.
Secretly he'll turn up on race weekend and score a bunch of points.

FIM confirms Motegi to go ahead
Now we'll see who changes their mind. I only wish their lead wasn't so big.
