Read a message the other day where some woman had her handbag stolen from car, complete with mobile phone and purse.
The thief sent a text message to hubby saying she'd forgotten her pin number for bank card. Hubby replied with correct number and the bank account was quickly emptied. Bank not liable either.
If you're nearest and dearest should ask you this sort of info by SMS, then make sure you call back.
Another one was a guy playing footie. Car stolen with phone inside. Access to GPS on phone took the crooks straight to his house. Knowing what time the game finished, they helped themselves to all his goods a well as the car.
Always lock your phone.

Blackberry phones allow you to enter a message that can be displayed when the phone is locked.
