Cal did well
Cal did very well in practice, I was very pleasantly surprised. Let's hope he does as well in the race tomorrow

Re: Cal did well
He needs a good start. Every time he qualifies well Dovi outdoes him into the first corner (along with a few others) and he spends the race playing catchup. Getting past his teammate is extremely hard as he is such a late braker.
At least Brno is a big wide circuit with lots of passing places.

Yes, being a big guy the power to weight ratio is an issue. He is at a disadvantage, off the line and when braking. It Should be a good race.
Looks like the championship has all but been decided, it is Lorenzo's title to lose.

Dani is on a roll. Maybe it's not quite over yet.

Wow, I thought it was going to be a good race, but boy I didn't expect it to be that close.
Dani's win seems to have given him extra confidence. He was a lot more agressive than I have seen him ride.

Fantastic race and at last a good start from Cal. Once he's in front of Dovi he's usually proven he's faster and he did it again.
Great ride by Dani and Jorge.

Re: Cal did well
Rossi made a very good showing early on.
I felt sure that oil smoke was more than overfilling. I thought it would go bang, but it held together. Although his lap times got slower the top speed was consistent so I guess we can't blame the motor?

Re: Cal did well
Good one from Cal.
The better he does now till the end of the season, the better the lesser evolution bike he will get for next season.
Regarding Rossi, as said on TV, he has to work the rear tyre harder as the front has no grip, so overworks the rear for the latter part of the race.
Prefered the Moto 2 race though, with 4 going for the win.
