Wanted: Cheap bike
Following the write off of my old tank am currently looking for a cheap bike (~£800), willing to wait for the right one/price as I'm cash poor but time rich to quote another on here. Not too fussed what it is but would prefer something easy to self maintain/minimum maintenance/reliable. Something functional is fine as I'm no racer, I just use it for occasional commuting/leisure/minimal touring

Thanks, I might go have a look, though its a bit more than I was looking to pay but cheap for the year. Besides, would like to avoid VTEC if possible.

Re: Wanted: Cheap bike
I was for a while, but the possibility of something a bit more modern and nimble has taken over. Am looking at stuff down south, VFR's and others. Missed a cracker in Manchester going for cheap on a private sale. But thought I would see if anything was going locally. I Don't mind travelling to get it so lots of options.

Re: Wanted: Cheap bike
A. Price (newer bikes= more money
)
B. I don't ride in a style that would take advantage of the VTEC system fully.
C. I kind of like older machines with less electronics, less to go wrong/fix
