Camp onsite if you fancy no sleep and a wild party. You won't be disappointed. :)

You have to stay on a GP camp site at least once.
As stated no sleep, and a complusive need to party on. :cheers

If you survive this one, then try Assen :freebird

Have do the Moto GP the last 2 years. 2012 flew down to luton on the Saturday morning, hired a car and up to Silverstone for Qualifying then hotel in Northampton. Last year drove down and stayed in Warwick. We went all days Friday to Sunday and drove back up on the Monday. This year flying to Birmingham and hiring car again.

Driven down the last 3 years and stayed at Litchlake farm campsite. its a bit more expensive but the toilets and shower facilities are decent. Not sure about this year yet. See how things work out
2 years ago, there was 10 of us, so we hired a minibus. Was great until we got out of Dyce and realised it was speed restricted to 62mph. That was a long ring piece journey :roll
Camping is a great part to the experience so long as its nice weather, everyone on the camp site are really friendly

When I went to the Donington GP a few years back we went to the night show and then on the way back found a great big tent with a party going on, c/w barbecue, music, free beer and food going on. The nice chap invited us to join him.

I asked him who he wanted to win the big race and his answer was....

'Race, what race? We just come here for the party every year.

A cracking weekend, race/rugby /weather wise. HAve already booked an early bird ticket for donington next year. Took the chopper ride over the circuit on the saturday and found out the pilot used to fly for bond and lived in kintore (small world and all that).
