One biker was on a 125.
While on a hilly twisty section I was behind the 125 watching the fine effort by the biker working the gears and trying to maintain momentum.
I had a wee smile to myself thinking the young lad was having a great time.
I was enjoying the run, but then thought that 125 rider having a better time than me, him pinning the throttle needing to keep the momentum, while me on my 100+ horse power big comfortable sensible bike was just pottering along.
I am not taking “better†bike, or bike most suited for the journey, just smiles per mile while fafing about on a day run ultimately heading back to when we started.
Go me a thinking…does a less powerful bike actually supply more smiles per mile
