UCAN run 2015, Sunday 23rd Aug, 9.30am...anyone going ?
I noticed this on Fafbook, so I thought I would post up on this forum.
I am sure the organisers on the UCAN run won't mind.
Anyone thinking of going?
The following text is copied from Fafbook:
"Sunday, 23rd August, 2015 meeting at 9.30a.m. at the tram lines, Aberdeen Beach.
This year's Bikers for UCAN annual UCAN Memorial Run will once again end at Linn O'Dee where a BBQ and raffle will be held. The run will start from the tram lines at Aberdeen Beach where we will meet at 9.30 a.m. Here we will be selling raffle tickets and accepting donations before the bikes depart at 10.30 a.m. following a new route which will be marshalled along the way.
The Admin Team are looking forward to seeing lots of you on the day and thank you in advance for any raffle tickets you buy or donations you make. Every little helps and is very much appreciated
This is an open event so please feel free to invite other fellow bikers."

Probably.
Worth finding the event on Facebook and marking that you're going to ensure they have enough burgers.
Either that or try to get to the BBQ before everyone else

Matt did you notice anything happening on the way back? There was 2/3 police cars passed us at high speed heading in the ballater direction?

Guy had an off between Braemar and Ballater apparently very lucky and broken wrist only.

Just been getting bits of information and also been told by trusted witnesses that what has been reported in local rags is not accurate. Glad to say no "serious" Injuries just dented pride & bikes.R2D2 wrote:haiax0 wrote:Matt did you notice anything happening on the way back? I haven't read anything anywhere other than on one of the guys who was with the riders fb page. It was me that told the fb page writer one of his men was off back up the road. The Rossi Kid wrote:Just been getting bits of information and also been told by trusted witnesses that what has been reported in local rags is not accurate.
