I did not know I had provisional rights to drive a road roller !
I just arranged a new insurance policy, and they did not want a scan of my actual driving licence, but wanted to view details online.
So I went to :
https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
Followed the online instructions...and got access to my driving licence details, then found out a few things I did not know...like I have provisional rights to drive a road roller, and my current points total.

I want to know why they are so adamant that you use your NI number to access driving license records. Is someone trying to tie a couple of databases together? NI number should be for tax purposes only.
