I've just been walking my dog in Cults and there's what I suspect is a stolen bike sitting in a muddy lane behind my house. The headlight has been taken off and the wires are hanging out of the forks. It looks like the toe rags couldn't start it. It wasn't there at 11pm last night. I've called the '50' who are coming round at some point, so hopefully it's still there when they've finished their brew and doughnuts.
I hope whoever owns it gets it back.

Thanks Zathos.
The guy who owns it was at the spot where I found it and I spoke with him not long ago. He got it back this morning and was unaware it was gone until the police knocked on his door. He just came round with a bottle of wine and was appreciative of me calling and him getting it back so quick. He just lives round the corner, so it looks like the scum are patrolling this area just now looking for opportunist bikes to nick. He had a disc lock on the bike, but he never had the steering lock on.
Good deed for the day done and I'll be firing into the bottle of wine this evening.
Make sure your bike is as secure as you can make it folks.
Cheers

Awesome - well played dude!
The little scrotes were trying doors around Ellon a couple of nights ago. Won't be long before they figure out where all the bikes are.
