UNFRIENDLY TO BIKERS

Pulled in at the Deeside Activity Centre and parks up alongside one of their trucks. A draggon wearing green wellies comes out and tells us "you can't park there as some car may knock your bike over".

As an aside their car park is rough gravel over pot holes, pretty dodgy for bikes.

I`ve pulled in there a few times for coffee myself

I usually leave the bike on the grey concrete which ends just before the car park starts, no problems yet.

The lady in question might wish to read the "Biker Friendly" notice at the entrance to the cafe'.

Maybe her new supervisor will show her the errors of her ways

That is exactly where we parked and were told to move onto the gravel. I got the impression she was keeping that area clear for their own vehicles, but as you say, hopefully they have moderated their attitude

A motorcycle bay was discussed this afternoon and is being arranged. Visor washing facilities ala Hungry Highlander will also be available soon, and if you are all very good boys and girls, tea and coffee will be significantly reduced for helmet carrying types.

And what something would that be then? Can you move the current minimoto time to after 12 on a Sunday? Clashes with rugby training.

Senior Instructor/Supervisor. I'll see what can be done with regard times, would a later time suit the rest of the Minimotoers?

OK, Minimotos on every Sunday afternoon are a NO. The track is needed most Sunday afternoons for other activities. We will however attempt a few Sunday Minimoto open days where it will be a practice/qualifying morning then a racing afternoon.

I had a look on the Deeside Activity Park web page and could not find any mention about Minimoto's.

Is there a calender of Minimoto days?
