Torque Wrench

Post by grantwils »

Does anyone have any ideas where I'd get a torque wrench suitable for my bike. I went to machine mart but the guy said it would be no good as it doesn't go down low enough for motorcycle applications.

I'm on a budget (hence machine mart!) so no snap-on jobbies!

Autosave (or Autoparts?) on King Street used to do one for about £15 - basic but it does the job. They also have all the large sizes of sockets for axle nuts.

Most of the manuals have gone metric so it'll probably have a scale in Newton Metres as well

Correct:

1 Nm = 0.738 ftlbs

1 ftlb = 1.356 Nm
