Oil cooler

Post by tintin »

Sod's law. Warranty expired last month and I noticed oil dripping from the bellypan when out this afternoon.

Got the bike home and discovered the oil cooler is leaking at the left outer seam.

Guess how much for a replacement? £387 and it'll take at least a week to get hold of one :evil

However, Aberdeen Radiators (down the beach area) are pretty confident they can repair it so I'm going to drop it by asap.

These guys repaired and repainted the radiator on my old ZZR11 a few years ago for £15.

Here's hoping :???

They also repaired Shrek's 600 radiator a few years ago.

He arrived for a rideout, but had to go home when we noticed steam coming from it, they had **repaired** it earlier that day :evil

I do hope they have got better.
