Yeah I couldn't resist when I got home !
Sounds even better, trouble is because of this bloody icy weather I've not had a chance to take it on the road yet but certainly sounds good in my garage !!

Leaky zip eh ? Office tittle tattle had it down as a leaky stroop. I'll let them know :2up

You're right though. Not far to travel so should be fine.
You'll be glad. Less ironing for yah. Forgot to mention I've written up a shirt ironing rota.
I'm so glad I work in a casual office! Except for the odd occasion I have to wear something nicer. I only bust out my iron for interviews these days, which one hopes doesn't happen too often

this is still bike chat...right? ...Fellas? :freebird

Yeah I had my Translap booked into Ecosse a couple of weeks ago, then the day before it snowed and froze on top so no chance of riding in following day from Fyvie

Ended up hiring a covered trailer from ACM Trailers at the last minute, big enough for the bike, plenty of tie down points and it was covered so no flying salt !

Plus points are they are bikers as well !!

Well recommended.

I've only started looking in on here again recently. I've deactivated my FB account as couldn't be arsed with some of the pish that was on it. :drama

That's me finished with road riding for good now I reckon. Got a couple of bikes for track use only and I get my fix with that.

I'll pop in and say how are you now and again though. :eye :eye

There is. Perhaps we should get on it this year then. Has Rowan still got them?

Tonight I tidied the shed....................and fired up the bike.
First push on the starter and away it went. I love my Optimate.
A bit lumpy but putting that down to needing a good run and fresh petrol.
This week I plan on booking a MOT.
It's got a recall. Now I assumed being a Suzuki it'd be Shirlaws but a guy at work reckons they're no longer the dealer. Checked their website and it's inconclusive.
Who's the local Suzuki dealer ?

The cost of an Optimate is quickly repaid. They'll at least double the life o your battery if you plug the battery in every time you put the bike away.

When I sold my 998s in 2007 it was running on the original 5 year old battery and starting first time every go.

MOT only and the recall I'll organise later.

Plugged in as soon as the engine is off. Optimate has been fantastic :2up
