Brake pads

Post by Grant »

Going to be fitting new brake pads soon and thinking about fitting EBC HH sintered pads on the front.

The question is, should I fit HH sintered pads on the rear also. Some people fit HH sintered all round but others reckon the back will never see temperatures to warrant them so they just fit standard (GG, I think) at the rear.

Any advice?

The OEM pads will be sintered so on the GSXR I'd got for either the HH pads or fit OEM. If you go for the standard carbon EBC pads you'll probably notice a degridation in brake performance.

The EBC pads will probably cause more wear on the disk but that's not really a problem.

normal ones on the rear could well be fine depending on how hard u r on the rear brake
