Have fitted a new speedo unit, speedo cable & a new speedo drive. However speedo doesnt show actuall speed.
If holding on the throttle, even when at top speed, the needle keeps going and wont stop. Then it wont start to go down untill I'm holding brakes on at junction etc.
For examle the speedo said I was doing 90mph when I was doing 37mph. I stopped then about 15seconds later the needle eventually returned to zero.
Someone said check the return spring hasnt came out.... It still exists in its place.
Thanks in advance,
Iain

Give Bikerchick a shout, she has some experience with digging about in the innards of a speedo or two
I know how that can be taken, so behave. That's not what I meant.
