Anyone got any tips/ etc for setting up a rear shock, recently fitted (got fitted really!!) a new hagon rear shock on the vfr and want to set it up for taking the gf on the back and some luggage(not as much as she'd like tho ) and just wanted to know how is the best way to go about this/tips for doing it, i appreciate that it will take some tweaking etc , just setting up basic preload , prob little alterations i'd imagine. the box for the shock stated that they're set up for 75kg-100kg right outta the box, well i'm at the"ahem" higher end of that scale, the gf is not as light as she'd like to be and then theres some luggage to add to that.

Get someone who knows what they are doing to set it up. Honestly!!

I got Bob Grant to set up the Tuono and it was transformed. £50 for a set up.

Remember, if you change something at the rear, it affects the front.

Personally if you are going to get it set up then go with setting it for you.

The distance riding with luggage isn't worth changing the settings, just ride more carefully

Do Hagon not have a base setting for the shock when fitted assuming its the one specifically design for the bike?
