I was in there the other week to get new chain/sprockets as well as new rear brake pads
Chain/sprockets...easy, mind you there was some complaining about the quantity of mud/grit/oil etc....fair call , but hey, the bike get used all year and I had deluged the fecker with ACF50 and the chain with Scotoil oil...lesson learned on other post that will be posted soon
Then onto the easiest job on a bike...brake pads.
I did prime Neil that previously others have found it a challenge, and I had purchased a new pin for the calliper/pads if the old one was deemed not the best...but removing the old pin tested the variety of techniques required to remove a seized pin. It took a wee bit longer than planned
But Neil persisted, good man, and I got the bike back on the same evening...well night...and after Neil had some phone calls asking about his location
Thank you Neil for your fine service.
