Winter drawers on

Spotted a gritter out on Anderson Drive on the way home last night.

It was a we bit nippy this morning and was glad of my heated vest and gloves. Need to get my finger out and get the grips fitted as well.

Atill a bit of a novelty having an ambient temperature guage on the bike so was quite surprised at it telling me that it was still 8-9 degrees when my fingers were telling me otherwise.

Your temperature gauge must've been getting some interference from the heated kit. Mine was only reading 4 degrees this morning. Brrrr!

I kept telling everyone it was 6 degrees outside after commuting on my old street triple last year over the winter period...

Turns out I confused the gear indicator with the temperature display....

i think i've seen the ambient temp guage in negative,.... it was a little horrifying,... but then my heated grips came on and all was well

You can't beat some heated kit and a high viz plastic bomber jacket from ARCO for keeping the wind and rain out.

Last year wasn't so bad but was riding home one eveninig and boy couyld you feel the cold
