Winter drawers on

Post by al »

Spotted a gritter out on Anderson Drive on the way home last night.

It was a we bit nippy this morning and was glad of my heated vest and gloves. Need to get my finger out and get the grips fitted as well.

Atill a bit of a novelty having an ambient temperature guage on the bike so was quite surprised at it telling me that it was still 8-9 degrees when my fingers were telling me otherwise.

Your temperature gauge must've been getting some interference from the heated kit. Mine was only reading 4 degrees this morning. Brrrr!

I kept telling everyone it was 6 degrees outside after commuting on my old street triple last year over the winter period...

Turns out I confused the gear indicator with the temperature display.... :anon

You can't beat some heated kit and a high viz plastic bomber jacket from ARCO for keeping the wind and rain out. :2up
