Hello from a nubile

Post by willian »

Hi there, just wanted to introduce myself, new to biking and just finished my CBT with Aberdeen Bike School on Tuesday (Simon is fantastic and highly recommended btw).

I plan to get my full licence as soon as i've got a some more 125 time to get the muscle memory of the controls and then some practice of the Module 1 test under my belt.
All going well i'll get a shot of the big bike the following day and will take it from there on how I get along if I shall purchase a 125 to get more practice time.

Have plenty life and car experience at 41 1/2 years of age so it's a case of getting used to patting my head and rubbing my stomach while being bounced about on the potholed roads :log

Welcome.

First few training days really melt your brain, trying to unlearn all the bad car habits. But it is worth it :2up

Yes, very true, i'm an 'aware' driver so I've used that to my advantage on the bike, just need to slow down a bit on the bike coming into 'situations' and realising i'm more vulnerable on two wheels.
Simon is straight talking which I appreciate rather than someone faffing about trying to get a point across :2up
