Hi there, just wanted to introduce myself, new to biking and just finished my CBT with Aberdeen Bike School on Tuesday (Simon is fantastic and highly recommended btw).
I plan to get my full licence as soon as i've got a some more 125 time to get the muscle memory of the controls and then some practice of the Module 1 test under my belt.
All going well i'll get a shot of the big bike the following day and will take it from there on how I get along if I shall purchase a 125 to get more practice time.
Have plenty life and car experience at 41 1/2 years of age so it's a case of getting used to patting my head and rubbing my stomach while being bounced about on the potholed roads

Hi willian, nice of you to drop in and say “Hiâ€
Advertising your age and access to a car, are you looking for a date or something

Welcome.
First few training days really melt your brain, trying to unlearn all the bad car habits. But it is worth it

Yes, very true, i'm an 'aware' driver so I've used that to my advantage on the bike, just need to slow down a bit on the bike coming into 'situations' and realising i'm more vulnerable on two wheels.
Simon is straight talking which I appreciate rather than someone faffing about trying to get a point across
