After the run at the weekend I noticed my paint is chipping quite easily. Has anybody used the Venture shield stuff before or can you recommend any other products.
I only really want the front leading edge of the fairing done and the front light housing.

hello bud, there is a body shop opened next to me and they did a skylien bumper for me and they used a plastisizer paint and said that should withstand alot of the chipping , there is a film on the market that you stock over your paint to stop the chipping all together but from what i gather there is no way to 100% stop chipping solely using paints etc unless you put a barrier inbetween the stone and the paint.
The guys next door are spot on and sound blokes and from what i have seen so far they do good work.

This stuff is not a bad idea at all, on the runs (where, obviously, you are group riding) the stone chips mount at an alarming rate.
the forks on the MT are well shot blasted, as is the light and fork guards.
Should have done it from new and replaced as it got knackered, too late now.
Will be fitting some during the winter tear down.
