I'm sure I have seen this question asked but cant find it & cant remember the replies
OK I have some Tank pads on my bike that I want to remove whats the best way of removing them? Then whats the best polisher/cleaner to clean up the area you have just taken them off of??
Also I want some clear tank pads for the side does anyone know where I can get these from??

Have you trued switching them off then back on again??

1. hair dryer to heat up the gum
2. pull pads off
3. either wd40 or 'sticky stuff' remover from DIY shop
4. wash with soapy water
5. have a beer
6. have a pie to go with beer
7. have another beer, seeing as you are at it
8. stick new pad on
9. have a beer
10. job done
Managed to get them off using my finger nails used funiture polish to take off the rest of the glue then polished the tank using car polish!! Looking great now thanks for all the offer of the help.
I'm now looking for Tank pads that look like round droplets of rubber clear anyone know what I mean??
